I was late for werk tis morning.

I couldnt bring myself out of bed.

My head felt teribbly heavy.

So no choice, Mr Blue Comfort ferry me all the way to Jurong Island tis morning and a handsome 35 bucks flew off my wallet. *hmmph*

Altho i slept exceptionally early last nite, was in bed by 8.30pm mind you.

I just couldnt wake up for werk tis morning!

I went home straight after werk yesterday cos i was constantly sneezing in the office.

Got home, showered, cooked myself a simple dinner and off i went to la la land.

Anyway, as i was home early yesterday, i managed to catch the Tyra Banks Show.

The beautiful supermodel was born not only with a beatiful face, she's got brains.

She's one of those non bimbotics models in the US.

Those who believe tat she can achieve more than just parading her body.

She's not only the producer of the very hit American Next Top Model, she also have her very own talk show.

So it was basically abt this lady, now 21, who wont leave her house without her make up on.*gulp*

Since she was 13 years of age, she was solely into makeup and never had tat off her only till she goes to bed.

Tyra made her wipe off her make up and walk in public, as a challenge.

She became a cold turkey. She cant even look up while walking. She ended up crying.

It realli took a toll on her.

I didnt noe tat some people can take it tat personally, just over simple issues like make up?

She claimed tat she believed in first impressions and she wants everyone who looks at her the first time will have a lasting good impression on her.

Her mindset is tat, if u dun look good on the outside, nobody wanna noe u deep inside.

At the show, Tyra herself wiped off her make up.

She told everyone tat she wanna prove tat she is wat she realli is even without those thick makeups.

She took off her fake eyelashes,simply wash away all those bits of powder and everythin on her face.

U noe wat, she still look amazingly gorgeous.

I was impressed. Realli i am.

She told the lady, even top supermodels needs make up to look pretty.

But its not abt the face, or the body or even the make ups tat makes a person beautiful.

It all abt being yourself.

A beautiful person is someone who cares, shares and laugh at their own mistakes.

A beautiful person feels and have compassion for others.

A beautiful person makes other people feel appreciated.

A beautiful person is not judged basically on the outlook.

Its all abt having a beautiful heart.

I cried while hearing Tyra saying all tat to the lady, realli inspires me.

Not many woman are as gracious as she is.

It seems tat money and fame doesnt make her forget where she stands.

A beautiful person with a heart so full of love.

Now, Tyra Banks is my idol.

Sorry lah, im no supermodel material.

But i wish to be as gracious as she is. *smiles*

So my resolution for next year??
