Now, let me just update a bit of my Batam trip.

Like i say, it helped me regained my faith and i treasured every minute spent with my loved ones.

The company was excellent and my hari raya haji was a memorable one.

Ready To Go

Proudly Sponsored By Louis Vuitton

We met at harbourfront at 12 noon and everyone was set to go by then.

The faces of the people i love made me feel much better.

Upon reaching Batam, we headed straight our hotel rooms and started unpacking.

I always love the hotel tat we stayed in during our trip there.

BUt best of all, i get to rest and relax with my favourite people.

A good way to DESTRESS??

Body Spa

I went for a 3 hour body spa for an amazing price of just $80!!

The whole body spa is inclusive of a whole body massage, body scrub, body steam and last but not least, the jacuzzi milk bath.

By the end of it, i felt perfectly brand new.

Of course, spending Aidiladha there was the most memorable one.

All of us went for the korban session at the mosque there in Batam.

We all woke up realli early as Uncle Bird had made all the necessary arrangement for us to visit a mosque.

So rite after breakfast at the hotel, all of us were set to go.

The Journey To The Mosque

Main Transport During Our Stay There

The mosque was built by the Wan Tom family in memory of my late grandma.

Wan Tom is the name of my late grandma who passed away nearly a decade ago.

So since her depature, my Uncle Bird decided to built a mosque there for the needy people around the area to utilise.

Below are pictures of our Wan Tom's family mosque in Batam.

The mosque is cosy and simple.

The residents around the area helped to maintain the mosque and Uncle Bird will make regular visits there if he's in Batam for his business trips.

There are so many poor and needy people living in Batam.

While i was there, it opened up my eyes and i realise how lucky we all here in Singapore.

And the korban session held there was a great way of helping the people there.

The meat was distributed to all the people living in tat area, most of them were the poor and not often they get to eat meat as part of their daily meal.

But wat touches my heart most was seeing the kids there.

Those young kids realli made my day.

It started off with buying those recycle trumpets for the nephews.

Then i saw those kids admiring the toy.

So we started buying for all of the kids there and u noe wat??

Their faces were beaming with delight.

Such a simple gift like tat made such a big impact on them.

We bought 40 trumpets for them and the amount of satisfaction, in one word,

Priceless.

When i asked them to gather to take pictures of them, they were more than excited to fulfill my wish.

Happy Kids = Happy Me

Like i say, the time spent there was so fulfilling, i never regretted even a second of it!

So as not to feel the loss of being away from home during Aidiladha, we were invited for a makan session by the residents there.

N guess wat, we had Lontong, just like wat we have every morning during Aidiladha while in SIngapore.

Lontong Session

N i thought spending the new year there would be, LAME.

But i was totally wrong.

My cousin Arfian, Muni & myself went to the hotel's pub and enjoyed a great session of live band music and lap dancing. All thanks to my Uncle Bird who made the reservation for us and its all on him. *smiles*

Not only i enjoyed spending Aidiladha there, i spent a humble new year celebration with my cousins as well.

All thanks to this man, all of us had a memorable Aidiladha and for myself, i had a nice humble new year celebration accompanied with great music.

My Favourite Uncle Bird

And when its time to go home, i told myself wat a nice lovely time i had during my 3 day stay over at Batam.

I felt much better than before.

I made so many kids happy.

I spent quality and excellent time shopping and dining with my uncles, aunties and cousins.

But best of all, i regained my faith which i thought i would lost along the way.

To sum it all up, my getaway was splendid.

Brand New Me

I came back being a brand new me.

Refreshed, revitalized and totally set to begin this new year with hopes and dreams.

Oh yes, im still very much in love.

But like i always say time and again.

Let Allah decide tis ok.

Being away from each other doesn't mean the heart doesn't love rite?

I just wish and pray my dreams will come true.

Time will tell it all.

I wish to be a wife and lead a happy life. *smiles*

I wanna remain positive, tats my aim for 2007.

One more thing, i miss.....

I MISS DOING YOGA!!!!

Shall do it tomorrow after werk!

Till then.

Have a great morning everyone.
