Guess wat time i ended up in bed last nite?
8.30pm.
I was dead tired and yeah i fell sick once more.
Like wats new rite?
My throat was terribly painful, i felt like a thousand needles
pricking on it!
So i went home rite after i knocked off from werk and mummy
gave me some pills.
I showered, had a simple dinner, took my pills and tats it, i
was far away in dreamland.
I was exchanging sms'es with Emily before i suddenly fell
asleep.
Sorry babe, i didnt pick up your call as i was already in
another world. heh.
Anyway, i really have to blog abt tis!
As i was kinda sick yesterday, the kind Uncle who ferrys us out of Jurong Island everyday offered to sent me till Pasir Ris, so tat it would be nearer for me to travel home rather than a train ride from Jurong East.
Decided to take bus 88 home as it was still kinda early.
While waiting for my bus at the interchange, i saw this lady, mid 20's, malay, at the corner of the interchange,waiting for someone.
She caught my eye cos she was wearing tis very sweet looking polka dots dress.
Im a sucker for polka dots oK!!!
So as i was admiring tat dress of hers, i cant help but notice how anxious she was.
She kept looking at her watch and checking her mobile.
Then finally a guy approached her ( which i assume is her bf lah ) and she showed him tat sulky face of hers, perhaps she was kinda pissed as he was late.
N u noe wat, the guy took out something from the back of his shirt and gave it to the gf, it was a stalk of rose.
Just a stalk of pink rose.
I was in awwwwwww.... ( of course i didnt say it out loud lah! )
The sulky face of the gf suddenly changed, she was all smiles.
I mean, im sure she's all touched by tat rite?
Sumhow they kinda noticed tat i was watching them from afar, so i gave them a smile and the sweet lady blushed. Heh.
Isn't tat realli sweet??
Im sure the gf feels so appreciated.
It may just be a stalk of rose, but its the thought tat counts rite?
N i've always wanted a bf to do this something for me.
A handmade card, with simple drawings and designs, and in it, he must note down 10 reasons why he loves me! Heh.
Ok, call me crappy, i dun realli care.
But tats something i've always wanted u noe.
Something tat is done with his very own hands, something he spent time on, something tat comes from his heart.
Till tis day, i have yet received any. Heh.
May be the time just isn't rite.
Or perhaps some men would not wanna waste time on stuffs like tat when they can just grab a Hallmark card on the shelves.
How would you feel if yor men did a handmade card for you, no matter how simple it may be, with 10 reasons why he loves you and to make it all complete, he present it with a stalk of pink rose.
If it was me, i will definitely feel appreciated.
Knowing tat the man i love took an effort to make me feel at worth.
But we ladies wanna feel appreciated once awhile.
Forget tat expensive dinners and luxury shopping for once,
Lets go for something simple yet meaningful.
Ok, lets just say, im yearning for sweet sweet love like tat.
When i will have the chance to go thru all tat, i dun noe.
Im still keeping my fingers crossed for now.
But hey, if by any chance, the bfs out there kinda stumble into this entry of mine,
Y not, do tis simple card and a pink stalk of rose ( it can be any color btw) and make ur gfs' day?
I noe it will make me feel on cloud 9.
So since im nowhere near of getting all tat in the near future,
I would love to at least make all the women feel appreciated by their men.
Or perhaps ladies, u can give ur men a hint abt tis.
Let's see if they are willing enuff to spent time and effort for such simple things.
N if your men did put in effort to make tat simple thing for you,
Oh pls dun judge his love no more.
