Dinner was simple yet splendid.

Food served was excellent.

But most of all,

The company of the lovely people was amazing!

We were all given name tags so tat we will be able to communicate well with secretaries from other departments.

Here's mine.

N we were also presented with a door gift each.

Everyone came in their lovely chinese oriental dress.

I came in my black and gold cheongsam.

N i realise something.

I GAIN WEIGHT !!!

Look at me peepz!

I look much fleshier than before rite??

Dinner was so much fun when all of us participated in games and lots more.

We were told to make lanterns in 10minutes!

Its all abt teamwork.

N my table did a great job!

N guess wat??

At the later part of the event,

We were told tat there will be a pagent event going on.

Since its the oriental theme,

The winner will be proclaimed as Miss Shanghai 2007.

To my surprise,

I was the winner for the nite! *lol*

I was enjoying my dinner when my name was called out.

N then the whole ballroom was clapping and cheering for me.

Realli made my nite more memorable.

Nothing fancy lah,

Its just something for entertainment sake alrite!

Altho it was realli something refreshing to me,

I cant forget the moments when i was told to walk and wave around the ballroom like a winner of Miss Universe!

I was kinda sporting lah.

I did wat i was told to do.

I wave and send flying kisses everywhere!!!

It was realli fun.

The nite ended with smiles on everyone's faces.

I had a great time,

Im sure the ladies had an awesome time as well.

N all thanks to this man,

I am wat i am now.

Best of all,

We were both cladded in black and gold outfit!

Nope,

Its was not planned at all lah ok!

Its realli a pure coincidence.

Tats the Vice President of the SembCorp Group Industries & also the Chairman of Woodlands Wellington Football Club, Mr Francis Gomez.

He is my mentor, my boss and he's like a father to me.

I am given so much opportunity to progress in my career all credit to him.

He's indeed someone i truly respect and admire.

N so,

I came back a happy woman tonite.

I guess i will sleep with a BIG smile on my face.

Oh yeah,

How can i forgot to thank tat realli sweet someone who was kind enuff to fetch me home.

I noe you are sumhow reading this,

Thanks for taking the time and trouble to travel all the way just to send me home.

N thanks also for the compliments. *smiles*
